THE INNOVATION DAYS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS

SHAPING INNOVATION, NETWORKING AND THE FUTURE - THAT WAS THE NEULAND 2025 KNOWLEDGE WEEK

From July 1 to 5, 2025, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) hosted the NEULAND Knowledge Week at Kronenplatz and opened up new perspectives on the transfer of knowledge between science, business and society with a diverse program. The Knowledge Week made the innovation potential of KIT visible - through exciting keynotes, interactive formats, inspiring panels and numerous networking opportunities. Each day had a thematic focus and centered on a different aspect of transfer.

GREENER, MORE DIGITAL, HEALTHIER: THAT WAS INNOVATION DAY 2024

The NEULAND Innovation Day on June 12, 2024 focused on innovations that contribute to a greener, more digital and healthier future. Aspects that are described in the EU strategy as clear goals for a sustainable future, to which KIT is intensively dedicated in its research areas and which were also the focus of the exciting short presentations at the Innovation Day.

INNOVATION DAY ON 06.07.2022 IN HYBRID FORM FOR THE FIRST TIME

The event was held under the motto “Sustainable Innovation”. The digital and live program, streamed live from the KIT Audimax, was extensive and varied in terms of topics. In addition to specialist presentations, this year's highlights included the start-up pitch, a laudatory speech to mark the tenth anniversary of the innovation competition, the presentation of the innovation awards and two keynote speeches from the business world.

CLEAR THE STAGE FOR THE FIRST DIGITAL NEULAND INNOVATION DAY!

The seventh NEULAND Innovation Day took place on June 30, 2021 - for the first time in digital form. Guests were treated to a wide range of digital content and interactive program sections on strategically important topics. The additional 3D environment with virtual exhibition stands also offered innovative ideas, technologies and start-up projects from students, academic staff, professors and companies from the business world.

SHAPING THE FUTURE WITH INNOVATIONS. SIXTH INNOVATION DAY NEULAND

The sixth NEULAND Innovation Day took place on July 10, 2019, presenting the latest KIT technologies and offering a platform for networking and getting to know each other. Seminars and workshops, an innovation exhibition, a panel discussion and an evening keynote: the program highlights attracted around 750 visitors to KIT's South Campus.

NEULAND INNOVATION DAY ON JUNE 27, 2018: INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES AT THE KIT

For the fifth time in a row, the NEULAND Innovation Day offered the opportunity to discover the wide range of innovation activities at KIT. Over 20 seminars and workshops contributed to this, ranging from financing options and patent law to presentations of successful collaborations in the fields of mobility, information and materials.

CREATING SOMETHING NEW. NEULAND THE INNOVATION DAY AT THE KIT

On June 28, 2017, students, academic staff, professors, industrial companies, investors and the regional start-up scene came together at the NEULAND Innovation Day at KIT. Current innovation projects, technology projects and start-ups at KIT were presented. In lectures, exhibitions and workshops, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about innovative research topics and exchange ideas.

KIT VENTURE FEST 2016: A NEW VISITOR RECORD

KIT hosted the KIT Venture Fest for the third time on June 29, 2016. The event attracted over 700 guests to the area around the Audimax. The diverse program brought together students, employees and founders of KIT with representatives from industry and business, investors and network partners. The highlight of the event was the late-night talk.

REVIEW KIT VENTURE FEST 2015

Numerous visitors and participants attended the second KIT Venture Fest on June 30, 2015. A diverse supporting program was offered on the topic of business start-ups: from seminars and workshops to a start-up gallery, pitches and discussions to advice and networking.
