The jury prize was awarded to Renumics GmbH, which specializes in automation Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) using artificial intelligence.
The audience award was given to spin-off SciMo for its innovative technology that enables fully automated production of high-performance electric motors.
The jury prize was awarded to start-up SMActuators. The young company has since renamed itself to memetis and is developing foil-based miniature actuators made of shape memory alloys.
Spin-off company Selfbits was pleased to receive the audience award. The team has developed a cloud-based service in the field of knowledge management, a backend-as-a-service solution. This enables the company to develop mobile business applications quickly and easily.
The jury prize - donated by KIC InnoEnergy - went to the start-up Campusjaeger. With their HR service for medium-sized companies and start-ups, they enable efficient recruiting of student employees and young professionals.
The "Best Energy Idea" award was presented to spin-off otego. otego develops novel thermoelectric generators (TEG) that convert heat directly into electricity. The prize was sponsored by KIC InnoEnergy.
In the audience award, the audience could vote for their favorite team. otego not only prevailed in the prize for the best energy idea, it was also able to convince the audience.
