Intrapreneurship at KIT

At KIT, there are quite a few research results, good ideas, and optimization potentials - but not all of them are implemented in reality. Not infrequently, questions such as "What can I really make of it?" or "How can I reconcile it with my work commitments?" play a big role in the decision to finally tackle this one topic. Besides, the first steps are not that easy: "How do I start to turn my idea into an innovation?" The maKeIT project now offers practical support to all inquisitive people and doers. The initiative supports participants in gradually working out the potential and exploitation possibilities of their own ideas. The focus of maKeIT is on three points: project-based learning, cooperation and coaching. Currently, members of the ENZo graduate school are using their knowledge and research results in projects for climate protection. And in 2022, a trio of students has designed an application to facilitate hybrid learning on campus. True to the motto: "Don't complain, do it!"
